Job Purpose

The PM, Implementations is responsible for the successful technical implementation of PeraHealth’s products and building solid customer relationships that engender confidence and product loyalty. Key accountabilities include leading the planning, execution and implementation of product(s) and support services. The position works collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders to bring structure, manage expectations, deadlines, and achieve high customer satisfaction while implementing complex product solutions to hospitals.

Job Responsibilities

    Proactively manage the technical implementation of the PeraHealth solution with multiple customers, including:
  • Facilitate new customer kick off meetings for the purposes of gathering requirements, timeline planning, understanding dependencies, and discovery
  • Create and maintain detailed project plans
  • Continuously monitor progress in terms of the status of the project and report back to internal management and subject matter team members and the customer using weekly status reports
  • Assist with escalated customer issues and project issues as identified or requested by the customer through direct support or through the support of the PeraHealth subject matter experts assigned to the project
  • Facilitate Post Implementation Review meetings with the Client
  • Drive technical projects and provide leadership in an innovative and fast paced environment
  • Take responsibility for overall planning, execution and success of complex technical projects
  • Facilitate ongoing technical support of the PeraHealth solution along with any upgrades
  • Travel to customer sites within the US is required up to 20%
  • Support other customer related projects that require project management services
  • Support internal department projects
  • Provide mentoring and support to other team members
  • Manage project tasks for a team of implementation systems engineers


  • 8 - 10 years experience in project management of technical software implementations.Experience operating in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment a plus.
  • Experience with needs assessment, software design, implementation, testing and validation, support, and reporting
  • History of excellent customer satisfaction
  • Experience working and managing projects with remote technical teams
  • Proven ability to effectively communicate with Executive Sponsors and IT
  • Leadership, listening, facilitation, team building, and change management skills a must
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to work collaboratively and manage across team boundaries and drive organizational improvements
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Additional Skills

  • Technical knowledge and experience preferred in SQL, HL7 interface, JIRA and Confluence
  • EHR/EMR and/or clinical experience a plus
  • and experience preferred
  • PMP certification a plus
