Job Responsibilities

Internal IT Management

  • Develop, deploy and maintain all internal IT services for PeraHealth, including managing IT inventory and 3rd party contracts
  • Procure and configure Mac and/or Windows computers and ensure proper asset management
  • Configure appropriate equipment and system access for employee onboarding and provide technology related education and ongoing support
  • Maintain users and configuration in Office 365, as well as hardware, software and peripherals
  • Test and apply OS installs and upgrades and upgrade administrative tools and utilities
  • Maintain and configure Active Directory servers including group policies, shared drives, user and group management and office 365 synchronization
  • Maintain WiFi access points, conference room equipment and printers
  • Maintain telephone and conferencing services and equipment
  • Maintain anti-virus/malware software deployment, user accounts, security groups, and related security for e-mail and file sharing
  • Perform periodic performance reporting to support capacity planning
  • Provide backup, restore and recovery support for network file shares and laptops
  • Respond to end user requests for hardware and software related technical assistance
  • Install, troubleshoot and repair issues with computers, printer/copiers, mobile devices and other equipment
  • Assess, modify and maintain internal information security policies and procedures to ensure systems and data are protected
  • Develop and maintain a disaster recovery plan for the organization
  • Develop software and hardware standards for the organization
  • Proactively identify technology and end-user risks/concerns and implement strategic solutions and controls in a timely manner
  • Work with CIO to maintain annual technology budget for equipment and services and ensure cost effectiveness
  • Maintain communications and working relationships within the organization and with outside IT service providers
  • Available for occasional on-call support during evenings and weekends

HIPPA Compliance

  • Develop, implement and maintain PeraHealth’s HIPPA compliance plan and policies in coordination with the VP, Finance
  • Regularly review the compliance plan and policies and recommend appropriate revisions and modifications including advising of potential compliance risk areas
  • Establish and administer a process for receiving, documenting, tracking, investigating and resolving any compliance complaints concerning the company’s privacy policies
  • Promote an engaging work environment by planning and coordinating employee events, and internal communications
  • Reviews, investigates and reports on compliance concerns
  • Monitors all customer contracts and vendor agreements to ensure all privacy concerns, requirements and responsibilities are addressed
  • Provide employee education related to privacy awareness and compliance

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years experience with hands-on IT support, preferably within an organization experiencing high growth
  • Relevant healthcare experience including familiarity with Health Information Portability & Accountability Act (HIPPA) and other privacy related laws
  • Experience with the following systems/equipment: Apple/Mac, SalesForce, Office 365, SharePoint, Active Directory
  • Excellent knowledge of information technology general controls, networking, data and cyber security, computer hardware/software systems
  • Understanding and experience with managing data network and telecommunications systems
  • Understanding and experience with managing IT infrastructure including systems, personal computing, helpdesk, servers and printers
  • Ability to effectively communicate technology, infrastructure and process needs and requirements at all levels; strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to research complex rules and regulations
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and tenacity to resolve issues and develop solutions
  • Strong customer service orientation; anticipates and acts on what’s needed; collaborative
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities; high attention to detail and follow through
  • Reliable and dependable with self-initiative
  • Agile learner, with a strong desire to take on additional responsibilities within a fast growing company
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS or similar field
